Register Your Interest

1. Responsibility for My Dog. I understand that I am responsible for my dog's behaviour and safety at all times during training. I will follow instructions and keep my dog under control.
2. Health and Vaccination. My dog is healthy, free from contagious illness, and appropriately vaccinated. I will not bring my dog to training if they are unwell.
3. Assumption of Risk. I understand that dog training involves some risk of injury to myself, my dog, or others, and I accept these risks.
4. Release of Liability. I agree that Darren Scahill is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage that may occur during training sessions.
5. Use of Training at Home. I understand that applying training techniques outside sessions is my responsibility, and Darren Scahill is not liable for incidents that occur at home or in public.
6. Children and Visitors. Anyone I bring to training (including children) is my responsibility.
7. Medical and Veterinary Costs. If I or my dog is injured, I am responsible for any related medical or veterinary expenses.
8. Public Locations & Outdoor Risks. Some sessions take place in public spaces such as parks, cafés, or the main street. I understand that risks common to any normal dog walk may occur — including off-leash dogs approaching unexpectedly, uneven or undulating ground, and members of the public wanting to approach and pat my dog. Darren will do his best to avoid or manage these situations as far as reasonably possible, but I remain solely responsible for my dog at all times.
9. No Guaranteed Outcomes. I understand that training is a process, not a guarantee. It is designed to show me what to do and how to practise it — results depend on my dog's individual temperament and history, and on my consistency practising between sessions.

These terms are additional to Section A above, not a repeat of it — they apply only if you are enrolling in behaviour-modification services for aggression, reactivity, fear, or bite-risk behaviours.

10. Full Disclosure of Behaviour. I have fully disclosed all known behavioural issues, including aggression, reactivity, fear responses, bite history, or incidents involving people or animals. I understand that withholding information increases risk and may result in termination of services.
11. Assumption of Significant Risk. In addition to the general risks accepted under Section A, I understand that working with dogs who display high-risk behaviours carries a heightened risk of injury, property damage, or serious incidents, and I voluntarily accept this increased risk.
12. Extended Release of Liability. In addition to the general release under Section A, I release Darren Scahill from claims arising specifically from my dog's high-risk behaviour during or after training, including incidents occurring off the training premises, and from the use or misuse of behaviour-modification equipment or techniques.
13. Equipment Use. I agree to use all training and safety equipment exactly as instructed. Any use outside the trainer's guidance is at my own risk.
14. Termination of Services. The trainer may discontinue services if safety concerns arise or if instructions are not followed.
